Alvarez and Messi Goals Seal Victory over Canada
Argentina booked their place in the Copa America final after goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi gave them a comfortable 2-0 victory over Canada.
The defending champions were in control throughout the match and took the lead in the 13th minute when Alvarez fired home from close range.
Messi doubled their advantage in the 28th minute with a typically clinical finish.
Canada had chances to get back into the game but were unable to find a way past the Argentine defence.
Argentina will now face either Brazil or Colombia in the final.
